At the Mercy of the Armed

The only way you’d stop the criminally minded, corrupt and insane from using guns to kill people is if guns existed nowhere on planet earth. If you took away that tool, they’d simply find another as did the man in China who, on the same day as the Connecticut shootings, used a knife to kill stab 23 people, 22 of whom were children.

Gun control laws only mean that those who REQUIRE the means to protect themselves prior to the arrival of law enforcement—who could very well themselves be the criminally minded, corrupt and insane—will find it harder to do so. Gun control laws are NOT implemented to protect you from those with agendas, because those with agendas don’t give a fuck about laws. MOST crimes committed WITH guns are committed by those who have obtained the gun illegally. MOST. Not all, but MOST.

The media—a workhorse for those pulling the emotional strings of the people—intentionally feed you the crimes committed by those who have obtained them legally or gloss over the fact that the perpetrator obtained it illegally or had been deemed unfit for possession of a firearm or any other weapon, but had ready access. You’re fed these stories to the point of regurgitation of your stomach contents. Over and over, the same footage airs. Nothing new being added. But you’re so captivated and entranced that you don’t notice.

What sticks in your mind as this hypnosis occurs is that “guns are bad,” “guns kill people,” “who let’s mentally disturbed people own guns?,” “mentally disturbed people shouldn’t have access to guns,” “it was the gun store’s fault for letting a mentally disturbed person get hold of a gun,” “if guns were off the street, this wouldn’t have happened,” “if there was stricter laws, this wouldn’t have happened,” and finally, “nobody should have access to guns, but the police and the military.” The final sequence needed to make the program a success.

An independent search of the record will quickly show that everything you thought you knew about guns and gun ownership goes against the programming taking place through your television, radio, newspapers and newsfeeds. But you’re not supposed to check the record. You’re supposed to swim with the emotional currents of the moment. In the process, give up your own right to meet deadly force with deadly force in protection of yourself and your loved ones. Wait on the police, I say. Wait, on the police.

Once again, the push comes for stricter gun laws. We forget or, in the case of some, never knew that Clinton’s assault weapons ban did NOTHING to prevent criminally minded assaults and murders, because America, a country that is one of the largest gun-running nations, has a black market that ensures availability of guns to the corrupt, insane and criminally minded. Laws are only for the law-abiding. Everyone else does what the hell they want to do, and someone who’s looking to murder someone is going to do what the hell they want to do, especially when they know that their deadly force will not be met by the deadly force of someone else.

Places like Chicago, California, New Jersey and New York have some of the strictest gun control laws, yet who’s dying there? Unarmed people. That’s who. The criminally minded, corrupt and insane are STILL acquiring weapons, much faster, in most cases, than law-abiding citizens who find it almost impossible to purchase firearms due to restrictions written into “law” to protect them.

Unarmed people are sitting ducks. Historically, the unarmed have been at the mercy of the armed. Think back slavery. Hell, think back lynchings of indigenous peoples just a few decades back. You give up your arms and your right to bear arms, and see if the criminally minded, corrupt and insane do the same. There aren’t enough law enforcement officers around willing or ABLE to protect you from someone who’s already there, locked and loaded. YOU are your first line of defense. Stop whistling in the wind, hoping for somebody else to protect you through the shuffling and signing of papers or a teary moment at a podium and do what it takes to protect your damned self.

On the subject of “men” (mostly black *cough* men *cough*) running around hollering about “no more guns,” I have only this to say: Any man without the means to protect his family is NOT a man. Go on back to the playground and resume playing. If you know that someone may well be bringing a gun to your home to rob, rape and kill your family, you don’t wait them out with a baseball bat or a law written on paper. You ready yourself to meet their force with a force of your own. Should you never have to do so, let it be said that it’s better to be prepared and not need than to not be prepared and need.
